Thinking of You Digital

This week at Cupcake Craft Challenges the theme this week is Pink, Green, Brown with Animals and flowers. I thought I would use this gorgeous little set from Softpencil. The whole set includes these images plus a tree and house to match. Very cute. Also at Digital Tuesday Challenges we all need to Simplify - so no embellishments on this card. I made this card 3.5x3.5" and pretty much let these cuties speak for themselves. Hope you like.

Just Magnolia Week 15- sketch by Tab

I don't know about anyone else but it is so hard to do a boy card but thankfully (I think) I am getting better at doing it. When I bought this DP it was to be used for Scrapbooking not card making so I only bought the one and didn't think to buy something that matched - so the end result is very plain and the card colours don't quite match.

Anyway - I made this card with this sketch by Tab for Just Magnolia. I whipped this beauty up in no time as I had a good idea what I needed to do it was just the DP that was a little tricky.
Hope you like.

Products: Magnolia stamp; SU natural Ivory & Riding Hood Red card; Cosmo Cricket DP; SU mark the date stamp;kaisercraft ribbon; BG White Chocolate chipboard number; 1/2 circle punch; Dimensional magic; SU Real red ink

Afternoon everyone. Hope we are all having a great day. It is nice and sunny here but boy is that wind icy cold. Not good to be outside today.

I made this card for the Inky Impressions DT call but decided that the colouring wasn't it's best so am just entering into normal challange. I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday. A great sketch once again. I did turn it on it's side to fit better with my image. Hope you like.

This call is open to everyone!! If you applied for our 1st DT call, please feel free to reapply!!

You are not required to use Inky Impressions stamps for your submissions but it’s a plus if you do.

All submissions must be received by August 3, 2009 by midnight (12:00 a.m.) Eastern Time and the new Design Team will be announced the week of August 9, 2009.

I, unfortunately, don't have any Inky Impressions stamps so had to show one of my other stamps.

The requirement of the DT call is that you put on the post your favourite card that you have coloured yourself. I actually made another card for this DT call but thought I would show my favourite card that does show off my colouring. This has to be my all time favourite cards that I have made.

The second requirement is to show a non card project.

You all know that this would have to be one of my favourite projects. I love this chocolate box. The colours everything about it.

Good luck everyone with the DT call.

Photos of my kids

Shock horror. I don't have any cards to show you. At least not this morning. If my hands get a little busier later today I might have something to show you tonight but don't like my chances as hubby is going to the AFL Footy.

Anyway, just thought I would show you some recent photos of my kids. Yes I do have a life outside of cardmaking. LOL. I haven't showed photos of them on here for a very long time. Maybe I should get my A into gear and do some scrapbooking LO's to show you my gorgeous bubbas. LOL. Yep still call them that.

My Princess Ashley - now 19mths old. My baby (not so much anymore). Don't you just love that flyaway hair.

The little devil in disguise - Lachlan who turned 3yrs in April. He is such a beautiful boy to look at but by geez is he a little devil. LOL.

My big man - Tyler who turned 4yrs in March. He is my good boy, although on occasion you catch him egging the other kids to do naughty things so it is sometimes hard to believe when he said he didn't do anything. LOL.

Hope we all have a fabulous day.

Life's a Beach

Good day everyone. What a simply gorgeous day it is here in Melbourne today. Not raining NOW and it is sunny at the moment. Great to show you my ATC for Tilda & Friends Challenge with a theme this week of 'Life's at Beach'. I had to use my Tilda and tube from the Summer Stamp Kit from Magnolia. I don't know if anyone can remember when they were younger (at least in my childhood) we used to swim in the lakes and rivers with the inner tube of a car tyre. Hence that is why this one is black. It certainly does bring back some great memories.
Hope you like.
