Spesch is sponsoring Digital Tuesday

Good evening everyone. Another post for today. Yay....!!!! This time I am showing you a card I made with this sensational sketch from Digital Tuesday Challenge that Spesch Stamps are sponsoring this week. I decided to use 'Willow' - our very first stamp from Spesch and made her big so we just had her upper body on the card. The DP is from Websters Page 6x6 paper stack. Gotta love the WP DP. So gorgeous. The lace is from Kaisercraft.
The sentiment stamp is from Whimsy Stamps - also used the matching die that cuts the stamps out perfectly. Enjoy.

PS Hope I got the timing right. LOL. Sorry if I didn't.

Zombie Preview Day #3

Who hoooo!! Are ya havin fun yet? Hardly wait to get your hands on some Summer Fun Zombies?? Who could blame ya!! Today we have another fun image for you to drool over... today we're showing you Christian!!

Make sure you venture over to the Simply Betty Stamps blog for more DT inspiration.

Now my inspiration for this card was from the DP. It is so beachy and of course Christian needs to be a surfer so hence the surfboard. I did his hair dull as (oops I forgot) Zombie are dead. They are the living dead but they are dead non the less so his hair is grey. Best I could do for dull looking hair without taking away from this sensational stamp. Hope you enjoy.

SSS105

After using a gorgeous stamp by Deb's Creations last week with The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge I decided to do again this week. This time I used 'Ally & Beeble'. Ain't they just the most gorgeous widdle friends. LOL. I turned the sketch on to it's side. Cut a few big flowers in half and stuck underneath the oval. The card is not quite as bright as the last one but I wanted to use this gorgeous DP by MME. Nearly out of it - eeeeekkkkk...!!!! The fairy sentiment was a freebie from somewhere but I didn't note down where.

CLP Challenge #35

Another good morning to you all. Wow I have some serious mojo happening at the moment. Ever since the Paperific Craft show all I want to do is colour colour colour with my Copic markers. LOL. Seriously though, here is my card I made with the gorgeous sketch from Crafting Life's Pieces Challenge #35. The sketch above is the sketch but I turned on it's side so fit with my image. The cloudy sky in the background I learnt from Annika's blog here. Such a great tutorial and looks great. I used the 352gsm Neenah card that I got from Sammi at Mad for Markers. This card is fabulous but must warn that most printers will not accept it - won't go through the printer.

...two more baby cards. Yep...!!! Have you noticed the baby cards I have been making...??? I have several friends due to have their babies soon so thought I had better get at it before they do so I am not rushing around.

I have made both the cards identical - one boy, one girl card - with the Sketch Saturday sketch. I used my new paper pad from Kaisercraft in the Lullaby range.

SSS104 - Sketch with a twist

Good morning everyone. How was your weekend...??? Good I hope. Mine was pretty quiet but got lots of crafting done. Yay...!!!! I thought I would join in this challenge over at The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge seeing I bought this gorgeous stamp from Deb's Creations, called Kenz and Tilly. Although it is a Mothers Day digital stamp (also available as rubber) I thought I would make something for someone other than my Mum. I must say that my own Mum is not that 'in to' this whole crafting thing. Unfortunately she is the type of person who throws these types of cards in the bin after a week or so. LOL. Anyway. Here it is. There is Spica pen on the wings and in Tilly's hair but you can't see in the photo (as usual).
Copics used:
Skin: E0000, 000, 00, 21
Greens: YG21, 23, 25, 63, 67
Purples: BV0000, 000, 00, 02, 04, V7, 4
Oranges: YR18, 14, 12, 21
Other: Atyou Spica pen - clear and lilac, blender
Prismacolor pencils for the grass.

PDCC77

The Greeting Farm are sponsoring The Play Date Cafe Challenge this week and I thought I would play along. I have not encounted PDCC before but must say I am pleased I found out about the challenge as I just love it. I saw this colour combo above and knew instantly what image to use. This Creeper is from The Greeting Farm Creeper set - her name is Jill. Don't you just love the grumpy face.....!!!! The sentiment rocks too and is also from TGF - a set called Because of You that I bought from the lovely Sammi at Mad for Markers.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I (so far) have had an excellent weekend. My official weigh in was yesterday for my 12 Week Weightloss Challenge and I did really well - don't know if it will be enough to win but I don't mind I have won already. If you want to see my results go here.

Thanks for stopping by.

WOJ Recipe

Good morning everyone. This is a scheduled post and hopefully I am sleeping in my bed right now underneath my nice warm blankets or at least getting ready to go out and get weighed and then off to the shops Yay.

This morning I have a card made with one of the new stamps from the Whiff of Joy Spring Kit. I made it for the WOJ Challenges which is a recipe - 3 Buttons, 2 Papers and 1 Ribbon. I just had to use the MME DP I got recently. Will be bummed when I run out of this gorgeous DP.

I got a huge compliment from a fellow crafter and friend the other day and I wanted to share. This friend (yes you know who you are sweets) told me that I colour hair really well. I blushed. I was rapt that someone else likes my hair colouring. I try and it has taken a long time to get where I am but would love to say a big big thank you once again sweets. You really made my day. xoxo
